Dental implants, replacement teeth installed directly into the jaw, require a sturdy foundation in the jawline. For patients who lack a good bone foundation in the jaw to hold onto that dental implant, a bone graft can be used to build up a good foundation.

The bone pieces in the graft may be taken from another part of the patient’s mouth, or may use fragments from a bone bank. These donated fragments are both safe and effective.
